Since 1981 the context "Wahrnehmungen" and "PD" orginated from literally collapsed. The hype that accompanied the "Neue Deutsche Welle" terminated the openess that characterised the beginnings and the real punk just didn't want to listen to anything but the real punk any more... For P16.D4 this meant to restructure not only the means of producing but also to conveive "music". While 1980 meant permanent touring, 1981 saw just 2 concerts. The group intensified studio-work an began to regard it as an instrument of its own right. (Re-)structuring disparate sounds became the most prominent means - improvising on rock patterns was reduced to an lement amongst others.
